That's my point but I don't see them being moved without a guy like Clarkson thrown in. Not if you want a decent return at least.

With Lou openly stating that the Devils will not be doing any addition without subtraction, could this be a chance to move Clarkson and maybe another? New Jersey seems to have a clusterfvck of 4th line guys the likes of Clarkson, Pelley, Zharkov, Mair, Leblond, et al. Not to mention a lot of young blueliners. I'm not trying to play GM but just food for thought. Stranger things have happened so far this summer.

Tonights action could have a major influence on the Devils. Carolina, Buffalo, and Florida are all in action. Buffalo and Florida play Western teams and Carolina has Philadelphia. Need to re-stock on beer for this one.

Maybe it's just a see-who-hates-Boston-more competition with the habs lol. Theres so much more that factors into having an NHL team in a city than just attendance. Economics plays a huge role in it, also. That's why they lost the Nordiques in the first place.
