  1. Ugh sucks no Nico but hopefully Hughes will play 1st line the whole game.
  2. Yep. So much has to go right. If talent alone was enough SJ, NSH, TOR, etc would all have Cups by now.
  3. CBJ straight crushed TB’s soul lol
  4. If it is for Byram what’s the rules for calling him up? Does he have to stay in the WHL all season now?
  5. Yep. Palms and Gusev are the only real snipers we have. Be nice if we could add another shooter or two. I’ve given up waiting on Zacha to become one.
  6. Mrazek kind of had it coming, imo...
  7. I missed the game, why didn’t Nico play?
  8. Well, there’s a game tonight. Hard to get too excited at this point, but I at least hope to see Hughes back in there. So that’s something...I guess. I think Chicago sent Adam Boqvist to the AHL a few weeks ago, so no Jesper vs Adam tonight.
  9. I would roll the dice that Byram turns out to be a better player than Wood, Zacha, etc. Now would I want to throw in one of our young guys that I’m actually still hopeful hasn’t reached their full potential like one of the Jesper’s? Not really. Throwing in a Palms or Coleman would be getting a bit rich too. But Wood, Zacha, Severson...I think we’ve seen enough of those guys at this point to know what they are. And to me it’s would be worth it for a chance at a potential top 4 (maybe even top 2 someday) dman.
  10. Would throwing in a Miles Wood or Pavel Zacha really be a dealbreaker though? I’d be perfectly fine giving up like half the guys on this roster.
  11. Lol agreed. There’s only 2 players who should be off the table as far as trades go, Nico and Hughes. If anyone else can help make the team better in a deal you have to do it. There’s guys like Palms, Coleman, and even Bratt that I would hate to lose, but like you said it’s a business.
  12. We think he’ll be a stud. He’s yet to play a single NHL game yet though. Just like with Ty Smith we won’t know until he’s actually in the league.
  13. Byram really does make a lot of sense for both teams. We desperately need help on the blue line, and Colorado already has Makar. What’s left of Hall’s prime probably fits their window of winning a Cup. I feel like we’d have to throw something else in the deal though.
  14. They might be on the upswing, but I’d be really surprised to see him re-sign there. Non-traditional hockey market, not much playoff success, etc.
  15. I understand wanting both of them to be considered untouchable, but let’s not pretend Hall is some scrub. We’ve seen Hall put a team on his back and win an MVP, and he’ll be in his prime for a handful of years to come.

No it’s not. If losing was the intention why not just stay with Hynes the rest of the season? He was certainly good at it.
  17. I’d be down for Lambert. Trotz protege that also won a Cup with Washington as an assistant coach.
  18. Who knows. As bad as Hall’s been this season he’s still putting up a decent amount of points. And that’s on a terrible team. A star player who just won an MVP 2 years ago (who would probably re-sign with them being a Canadian team, and having a history of making the playoffs a lot) might be enough to get it done.
  19. Idk how likely it is, but Montreal is definitely one of the teams I’ve heard mentioned a lot that could be a possible landing spot for Hall. Mostly speculation though, for whatever that’s worth.
