  1. hehe....AWESOME!! Thanks...love the title like I said...anything you need..I'm there! Thanks again!
  2. Hey DM, I noticed people were talking about the topic indicators and you said you'd change it tomorrow...just thought I'd throw this out there...made it up to fit in with the theme of the new skin...Let me know what you think! I printed the screen to match colors so if you do use it...the colors should blend in the right spot!
  3. Yes I do actually....I went ahead and condensed it to Avatar size but unfortunately my image hosting site isn't up right now....I'll post it as soon as it is!! EDIT: It's back up...here ya go...let me know if this will do...
  4. Try right clicking and "Save Target As..." It worked for me on three different browsers (AOL, IE, Firefox)....If not, sorry..good vid though...try googling it
  5. This is the great fight Janseen had vs. Tucker....when he got smashed in the face with his helmet....It's great to see Cam motion to the refs three or four times to back away Janssen Fight Enjoy!!...before the bandwidth is spent
  6. Oh I don't think its too soon at all ELIAS FOR MVP!!!!
  7. "This is definitely obstruc--- oohh ooh....yeah but I like it...nevermind refs! " - Sid the Kid
  8. hehe...I will take credit for that one! I've been an Elias fan since my first game 6 yrs ago! i met, shook his hand, told him what a great player he was and he said thanks...told me he liked my cross I was wearing too the best hetero moment of my life *the meeting itself was actually great over all...he was in great spirits...even commented on the funny spelling of my fiance's name...Anyway, that's the real reason why I wanted to add him in..hopefully those two players will be Devils for life!!!
  9. That's cool...I've come to realize (after living in Jersey for 6 yrs) that there are two staples of Jersey...Bad Driving and Vanity Plates DEVS FAN would always be a good choice...if not taken already!
  10. I'm hoping Denver will pop up in the SuperBowl this season although after yesterday's game the Steelers deserve it way more...(I'm just bitter about the Steeler/Cowboys rivalry ) And I hate the Panthers so I'm hoping the Seahawks will show up and make a good game of it...the Mannings are the most overrated, overhyped players ever! I wouldn't be surprised if niether one ever gets a SuperBowl appearance (Peyton is suck a pr*#@!!) Seriously about the panthers...if the Cowboys can stop Steve Smith for 3 Qtrs then the Bears should have shut him down...he is amazing though...I'm hoping for a Seahawks/Broncos SuperBowl but wouldn't be bothered by a Seahawks/Steelers one either!! yay Colts 0-6 (6 now right?) post season!
  11. HAHAHA!!!! Can't believe it....the Mannings can't buy a post season win!! The best QB in the league matters not when you can't win a single game in the post season!! ...... then again, my 'Boys couldn't even get in...damn Skins...at least that fluke is over with now
  12. I've been trying to log on just to njdevs.com and I keep getting an error...I have AOL but also tried with IE and Firefox....anyone else having a problem?? luckily in my IE bookmarks I had a copy of the forums EDIT: Sorry...I see the main post already that addresses this problem....thanks!!
  13. All I know is a few years back when he was with the Devs and I was making Windows wallpaper...I would do searches for player pics on google and many a time searching Sykora would pop up several gay websites...literally...gay websites...
  14. I like these lines...although I would rather see Kozzy on the Madden line...and Langs on the line with Parise centering....it could be a really good scoring line and less of a liability with Langs playing pretty decent D...as far as the fourth line go Brylin could center with Rass out...I know they both haven't done much as of late but Sarge is too....uh....Deviley?? to not be in the line up (he's been lazy offensively more than we've seen in the past but still plays hard) and Marshall plays well 85% of the time...so Rass is the odd man out on that line.... With all cylinder's clicking these lines could make us really really good!! *I know not many would want to take Langs off the Madden line because he is a great fit..I just don't think Kozzy would be that bad in the spot and Langs has been playing hard and had hot hands a couple of games back...I don't think its a coincedence that we have two shut outs with Madden's line playing amazingly and Langs didn't have a goal in either one of those games...with Parise and Sugs he could get hot easier I think....He's got a case of the Maddens on that line
  15. Looks like they took one out of the book of Lou.... Link MONTREAL -- The Montreal Canadiens fired coach Claude Julien on Saturday, replacing him with general manager Bob Gainey. The Canadiens got off to a strong 12-3 start this season under Julien before winning just seven of their next 25 games. Montreal also fired assistant coach Rick Green and replaced him with former captain Guy Carbonneau. Julien was hired for his first NHL head coaching job on Jan. 17, 2003. The former NHL defenseman helped the Canadiens reach the second round of the playoffs in 2003-04. Julien leaves with a 72-62-10-5 record. Green had been an assistant coach with Montreal since 2000. The 52-year-old Gainey, who played for Montreal from 1973-89, became coach of the Minnesota North Stars in 1990 and acted as coach and GM from 1992-96. He was then general manager of the Minnesota/Dallas franchise until he joined the Canadiens as GM in 2003. Carbonneau was in his third season as assistant GM in Dallas. He was an assistant coach in Montreal from 2000-02.
  16. ok so when topic was first posted I went in from the front page (yes, there is a front page to this site ) but anyway I saw the thread title "to past and present Sykora fans" and decided to throw in my two cents...so now I go into the thread from the Heaven section and see the little discription "for girls only really" and feel a bit dumb having posted like the first reply being a guy and all.....oh well..he is kinda cute.... j/k well...my fiance thinks he is anyway....
  17. Actually I've got some stuff...er..I bought *cough* downloaded *cough* yeah its amazing...and when I got it I didn't realize it was their old stuff...I thought it was new...very good stuff....Na na na na na by the Kaiser Chiefs has been on my iPod for a long while now....Surprisingly...if you like the show or not...buy or aquire the CDs from the O.C.....there are like 5 now...There is not one song I don't like on those CDs EDIT: I found a great website today (actually a friend found it) go to Pandora.com...its a great web radio station..you type in a song or artist and they find songs just like it...you can then rate the song whether you like it or hate it to narrow down the field of style you like...great website!!!
  18. I was a huge Sykora fan...mainly because of the chemistry on the ice he had with Elias and Arnott.... I will never forget the Arnott pass to Elias from the blue line..Elias takes it behind the net and back passes it to Sykora...kinda like the one Elias dished to Gionta a couple of games ago...Yeah it sucked the way he left and his attitude after the Arnott trade but I still would rather him be here than the Rags...just at a less price...I think he might end up being worth it now...but for us when he was traded he wasn't...but aaahhhh welll!
  19. Sounds like he's on his way...and has a good head on his shoulders...I wouldn't mind seeing him in a game or two this season....a little bigger Gionta Jr. in the making ... random thought though...he put up good numbers in Sodertalje
  20. I like the White Stripes...their Albums always seem mediocre but then again I've got "Doorbell" on repeat in my iPod ....Radiohead's pretty good too although I don't go out of my way to buy their stuff...never heard of M.Ward though....you should try some Rogue Wave...and the Kaiser Chefs...really good stuff.
  21. I would be curious to see if you ordered a jersey from the catalog if it would get there sooner Bets are it would....I'd just order the one I got free...get it in like 2 weeks then call them and tell them to refund your money and use that as the free jersey ....I know..I know...just a random thought is all!!
  22. Alright....this is my last reply on the topic...as I said I wasn't trying to start anything...My basis on the fact that Evolution was theory had nothing to do with it should be taught or not....even in my statement I said Evolution had been proven through genetics...but I also did state that there is nothing wrong with teaching Intelligent Design....a majority of religions across the world believe in a higher power whether it be a man, animal, or spirit that guides us or binds us or created us and the thought of Intelligent design being that higher power created or helped spawn the universe into existence being taught is school is far from wrong...I have no problem with it being taught or with it being left out, if that is something some feel should be taught at home, church, mosque, temple...then so be it, however there is no reason for it to come down to a bunch of athiests whose only purpose is to try to deny the fact that there might actually be a God or other higher being and make sure that it is kept out of schools for their own purpose...it doesn't disrupt thier learning...they don't want to take the class don't...they don't want to say the pledge don't...they don't want to do anything then they don't have to do it... An yes...I've been to school...I know our motto WAS "E Pluribus Unum" out of many, one...yeah..but now it is "In God We trust"...and in 1861 a Reverend wrote during the Civil War that the motto be changed...and it was solely because of the thought that they should declare themselves on the side of God...so I'm niave...forgive me... And to say that the founding father's were Deists is rediculous...there are arguments both ways on that subject that has been debated for years...Many of Washington's journals had writtings that showed how devout a Christian he was...the Founding Fathers, however were smart enough to create a secular government so problems like this would not arise, however when schools began you should keep in mind (because you seem like a smart enough person) they were only there to teach how to read the Bible...That is another argument entirely... All it comes down to, for me at least is, is simple...if you don't like the Nativity scene downtown..don't look at it...teach your kids not to look at it, teach your dog not to look at it, tell your friends not to look at it...but that's not good enough...It has become, in America, the athiests job is to completely disrupt the values that regardless of when or by whom or for what motivation have for years since this countries conception has been based on a religious values...The problem is that in making an argument to take away any religious markings, or symbols, phrases whatever in anything to do with anything public because our religious freedoms also mean the freedom to not believe in God...it has become more than that...its not about expressing your beliefs...if you don't want to believe in God...then as I said before don't...that's not my problem but it's insane to possibly think that because there is that Nativity scene in town square or the pledge does say "under God," that some how that is endorsing religion...So by this I'm assuming that you believe by listening to your MP3 player made in China is endorsing the communistic regime?? but again...never meant to start anything...only wanted to throw in my dos centavos...
  23. I wasn't intending to start anything as I stated in my original post but pointing out Constitution doesn't have anything mentioning religion is beside the point...why would it?...it is a Constitution of people's rights...Yeah and I know...the religious freedoms are part of that...the only point I was trying to make is having a bunch of kids say the pledge as part of a school tradition is not wrong...yeah it says "one nation under God" and if you don't believe that then don't say the pledge no one is making you...that is part of your freedom but to take it away from those who do believe it is wrong in its own right....And Evolution was based on theory...natural selection and what not...yes most of it has been determined to be true through genetics but still based on a theory...again beside the point...Intelligent design is something that can and should be taught...it is the theory that some higher being created the planets...Every religion has that belief...and there are really only two types of people that have a problem with teaching that...athiests and the ignorant who don't understand what Intelligent Design is....But then again those are the same types of people that sue a wal-mart because their banner says Merry Christmas, or Happy Hannakuh....those are the only types of people that have problems with anything religious...And all I'm saying is that is where the problems lie....There is not a problem with teaching religion in school as long as its in the correct setting...whether its Intelligent design or the difference between Judiasm and Christianity...that is what school is for...learning and there is nothing wrong with it as long as it's not biased... The main point of my original argument is regardless of your religion, based on tradition alone and the founding fathers of our country we should have the right to leave certain things alone.... I'm just trying to get you to understand what I mean by what I'm saying...its like telling the Habs they have to change their logo because the majority of NHL teams are in America and the CH in their logo stands for something in French...it should be in English come on...at least get what I'm trying to say !!!
  24. Our freedoms are going to be the cause of our downfall in this country..."In God We Trust." The label of our country whether people like it or not...this country was founded by those with religious ties to God....Our country is not denying anyone their beliefs nor are they persecuting anyone for their religion...Now I'm not trying to start anything at ALL!!! Nor am I saying that they should teach this class on intelligent design but I don't believe there is anything wrong with it...The basis of evolution itself is mainly theory hence "the missing link" between man and ape so it may hold more "logical" reasoning behind it than intelligent design, so what...it is still being taught in school so why not have intelligent design as well...Knowledge is never there to hurt anyone and being able to present two sides of a story to anyone and letting them make their own choice isn't going to hurt either....but that's beside my point. I'm ashamed and appalled by those in this country who are so quick to sue to get "one nation under God" out of our pledge or those who protest the 10 commandments being placed in front of our Courthouses....Go to another country that relies heavily on religion such as Isreal...move there and tell them they can't practice their religious beliefs in public places because it interferes with us...it is completely insane!! You want to be an athiest? a Muslim? a Jew? then go ahead, I won't stop you...but like it or not this country was founded by Christians....to put it bluntly its like walking into a McDonald's with a Burger King bag at your side...sitting down eating your Whopper then complaining that the customer next to you enjoying his McNuggets is bothering you...so he offers a McNugget to you...decline and eat your Whopper... Sorry for the rant...I've just had it up to here with this kind of stuff...the whole "holiday" season has been this way...If you are really ignorant enough to get offended by someone calling something a Christmas tree or get upset because someone is singing "Oh Holy Night" in your presence then sit in your house, put in some earplugs and leave everyone alone!!...I won't be suing if my child is asked to make a Happy Hannakuh card or a Kwanza card in school for a friend...and yeah I celebrate Christmas...."have a Christey Christ Christmas everyone!!!" - Jim Carrey
