ljc99
On the NHLPA website it lists Kozlov's salary for 2004/2005 as 2,300,000.00......I guess that means that he has signed a new contract? I think he was a restricted free agent, right? Lisa
aylbert
I'm taking that he is... the other RFA's who were qualified aren't listed as a salary... Or its an NHLPA glitch... lol... since there was no report yet.

aylbert
Its true, thats the same way I found it with Langdon....just out of the blue he was there. Thats great... Im on the side that thinks Kozlov has a lot of potential and will do well in the Devs system... Im looking forward to see what he has to proove, to himself and the leaugue... he was hyped for a while. I just hope he isnt traded before the start of it. SueNJ97
I checked the Devils website and so far no news. And there was nothing on TSN, he's still listed as an RFA, of course, they still have Pando listed as an RFA and we SIGNED him. So they aren't exactly up-to-date. Jas0nMacIsaac
I wouldn't mind seeing a Rasmussen-Kozlov-Suglobov line.......he needs a goal scorer to feed. If Friesen was his old self ending the year Kozlov would have been well over a PPG in the final games for NJ.
sammyk
How much was he originally qualified for?
NJayDevil
How much was he originally qualified for? The same price.
sammyk
How much was he originally qualified for? The same price. Oh, I thought it was more than Hrdina...guess not.

Im looking forward to see what he has to proove, to himself and the leaugue... he was hyped for a while. I just hope he isnt traded before the start of it. Being that Lou explicitly pointed out 'all three players (Friesen, Kozlov, Hrdina) have trade value', I'd be surprised if at least 'one' of them wasn't traded. Guest Devsrule
i think Kozlov was a mistake, just like larionov. It just did not work out for him.
Don
I think Viktor would flourish under Larry moreso than Pat. Here's hoping he doesn't get that chance....
vadvlfan
I think Viktor would flourish under Larry moreso than Pat. Here's hoping he doesn't get that chance.... Don, your post flew over my head. Why shouldnt a player get a chance to flourish? If we find out the guy has something on the ball under larry's tutalige maybe we dont have to go outside to find somebody again. (assuming there is a season this year, and pat is still recuping. vince
Don
I simply meant that I'm hoping that Pat's health allows him to be back sooner than anticipated. Edited July 8, 2004 by Don
