LOTCB
i home game on new years eve? somehow i don't see many people snatching up tix to that one...but the schedule will be changed anyways so no biggie there. Ill tell you what...when I look at the Sabres schedule...the FIRST thing I look for in New Years Eve, and much to my di$appointment they will not be home this year. Sabres used to have a tradition of playing home on New Years Eve...last time I went to one there was 93-94...Rangers at Sabres...they had a promotion at the old Aud called "Tux and Pucks" night...rent a tux from a local tux company and receive Sabres tickets...so many there wearing tuxes and women all dolled up...at a Sabres game!!! My father and I didnt wear tuxedos though, I wore a Mogilny jersey!! Edited July 14, 2004 by Legend Of the Clown Banner
David Puddy
That's a sweet idea. Just clever enough not to make you squirm over the gimmickiness.
RowdyFan42
Change all the 2005s to 2006, and change all the 2004s to 2005. That'll be your NHL schedule.
NJayDevil
Damn, again they don't play on my bday! The last time they did play on my bday, it was on the Island and Little G had a 2 goal game.

Devil666
Last year the home opener was tough being Game 7 of the Yanks/Sox was on the same night. But there was no way I was going to miss the banner raising. Hopefully both schedules will work out better this year. Two years in a row opening at home against the Leafs. *yuk*
Elias 2662
Apr 2 Devils @ Bruins I'm so there. That reminds me, every year the Devils play the Bruins on a Saturday/Sunday towards the end of the season. This is good for me because it's better making the long trek from Maine on a weekend rather than on a weekday.

njdevils_info
Anyone here got the pre-season schedule? I dont think its out yet Pre-season schedule could come out as late as mid august or as early as now. I don't know how they make it, if it's a league thing or just the GMs of the divion get together and draw something up.
expect_the_unexpected
Why do we always start the season with the Leafs and end them with the Bruins and Canadiens?
LOTCB
Why do we always start the season with the Leafs and end them with the Bruins and Canadiens? You should be honored...Toronto is the self-proclaimed "Centre of the Hockey Universe"
NJD Jester
NHL.com story. Look, I know we don't look to NHL.com for objective journalism. But how do you publish a story on the NHL's schedule without at least mentioning that "dates are subject to change?" <JESTER>
