Vic Rattlehead18
What's that saying about blind squirrels and nuts again? I never heard such a saying.

maxpower
Parise's first goal as a Wild was a slapshot from outside the circle. Whoever that goalie was should have killed himself. Parise's shot was all about accuracy and quickness more than velocity. He used screens very well, and often had a sneaky wrist shot. He didn't need a lot of room to get it off, and was deadly accurate with it. The only thing lacking was the velocity. His shot was all about deception. Parise doesn't score off his shot. He's a garbageman, without the rules changes he'd be a John Madden type on the wing, who plays D and gets you in transition.
Triumph
Would you quit talking out of your ass for ONCE? Parise has a below average shot, very few of his goals come from above the slot. Parise RARELY beats a goalie from the outside with a shot. Parise is good at shooting for rebounds and hitting the goalie but he's not going to beat many with his shot. For example, last night. I can't remember a single time Parise cut inside to the blue line gaining the zone and firing a rocket placed perfectly like Henrique did. Parise is a great hustle player but his shot alone isn't anything more than average at best Parise has scored goals like this, it's just not common. Whatever the case, Parise's a much better player and Henrique doesn't have Parise's ability to generate shots.

Sure, Parise might shoot more but from a distance his shot is a pop gun.

Garbage goals is his specialty, but he has scored lots of goals from the slot and the face off circles.
