He can be a catalyst for whatever line he is put on and lets face it when he is healthy he is still one of the top players in the league. I'd rather have him for 30 of 40 games during the regular season and all of the playoffs then have to go up against him in a 7 game series. If we have the cap room I dont see why we shouldnt give him the maximum offer possible and let him decide not to come here rather then just simply passing on one of the best players in the game. Marty just won the Vezina isn't injury prone and not a UFA. wow, so Peter's supposed to be God? His teams were seriously flawed.Still think Chris Pronger isn't any good, now that he's gone to the Finals 2 straight years? I am not the one annointing him savior, so you have to ask yourself that.
