smelly
I'm not surprised that they lost, just at how poorly they played. They blew their cushion. They just mailed it in. Now we'll see how they respond to pressure.
LizDevil30
No choke city. Ottawa was home and it really made a difference. Now we go home. They regroup, focus and get the W. IT ENDS IN SIX! LETS GO DEVILS!
Gloversville NY JOEY RYAN!
I thought the Devils played by far their worst game of the series...I also thought the officiating was horrendous. Devs had a chance obviously to put this one to bed...seemed to me that they expected the Sens to mail it in and just give it to them. Game six is indeed huge...I believe if they lose it they'll also lose the series. Momentum has swung...game six will be interesting. If I am a Sens fan right now I am feeling good...If I am Devils fan (and I am since 82-83) I am somewhat nervous and I am. Bad loss.
HellOnICE
Like I said, they needed one more wake up call. They'll have team meetings, regroup, and win the ECF at home. Book it.
NJayDevil
Choke City. That would be a statement worth mentioning if they blew this 3-1 series lead but they are not so therefore the statement is rather pointless after 1 loss.
Weekes Head
Choke City is in Philly.....
Zamode
No bad back to back games for NJ. Win at home.
Elias Sports Bureau
Yeah. Oh, the best team in the league avoiding losing their fourth in a row and leaving the playoffs entirely. What a choke by the Devils. It's a good thing the team doesn't panic the way fans can.
SBT
No worries. NJ still leads the series with the play shifting to CAA. The chance to win one game at home for a trip to the Finals. You've got to like their chances.
Zamode
I am very disappointed in tonight's game and I think alot of bad penalities were called. It wasn't their best game but I don't see them losing two more in a row. ESB is right--Ottawa was not going to lie down and die like Boston did in game five. I think a majority of us picked NJ in six or seven games anyway. I think the mindset of having a bad start and working their way back to the top was a good lesson for them and I do feel confident that they will win Wednesday for the home crowd. sheeps
They haven't lost at home this playoff year. They've won the first two series at home this playoff year. This series, Ottawa had home ice advantage. All this means is that New Jersey will win it in six.
