RWTDblog
Believe it was taken away and credited to someone else. I'm happy for the guy if he does well out there.
Devil Dan 56
went to one in 2007. detroit has just as many no-shows as new jersey and the building is just as dead for the regular season. I would guess that their fanbase is similar to ours in that they have a lot of fans who don't know much about losing.

Can you really make that generalization, based on one game attended? I know you say that you've also watched them on TV (I have too, though not a lot)...but how many home Red Wings games do you watch a year, honestly? Probably less than 10. Probably less than 10. i was getting e-mails last year for wings playoff tickets 24 hours before gametime. sure it's less than 10, but every time i see them there's a ton of empty seats and the crowd sounds like it's being muzzled. metallidevils
I would guess that their fanbase is similar to ours in that they have a lot of fans who don't know much about losing. what does that have to do with anything? considering we've still been competitive all these years, its not like our attendance has really gone up all that much. Tri said the atmosphere was similar to that of NJ, so I was adding that they have had similar (well, better) success recently, which could be a reason why. Pepperkorn
I was going to write this was sounding like Leafs fan thread... but actually, I am really beginning to hear what a typical Devils fan sounds like. That's not a bad thing. It's a lot of "you think y'bedduhdemme?" with a healthy dose of "we're jusso usedda winning" to excuse our hyper-defensive and unforgiving natures. Very East coast! VERY New Jersey! It's pretty cute.
