frenchy
Hello everybody, I am a french fan of the new jersey devils. I live in France and i will visit New York city the first week of december. During this travell, i will certainly see a hockey match in the New Jersey. I know the continental airlines arena, where the game takes place, but i have seen that a new arena is in construction : The prudential center, near Newark airport. To reserve from France, i have to pass by ticketmaster web site. In december, the hockey match and nba match will take place still in continental airlines arena or in prudential center ? If i take a ticket for continental airlines arena, can i use it to see the match in prudential center, if the game is now play here ? frenchy
The Devils will be playing at the Prudential Center in Newark this December. You can get there from Newark airport by taking the monorail from the airport into Newark. You don't even need a car to get there from the airport. You won't be able to buy tickets for December until September at the earliest. NBA games will still be at the Continental Airlines arena. jkrdevil
From Manhattan you can take the train from Penn Station New York (MSG) to Penn Station Newark. From there you will exit the train station walk across the bridge just outside of the platform (it should be up by then) and then you will be straight across from the new arena. You should be able to see it from the station.
CRASHER
Unless you have season tickets, sales for individual games do not go on sale until after the NHL Schedule is released, which I think it somewhere near August.... so yeah September is a logical date for it, because it gives all the season ticket people a chance to buy up the seats they want! frenchy
It will also be possible to use bus ? Do you have an idea of the price if i want to take a taxi ? Vive l'administration Bush !
HellOnICE
Frenchy it is possible by bus, but the best way would be to take a train. It is 15 minutes and much cheaper. Also, a taxi would be a lot more money and a longer car ride, especially from New York City.
