Not saying he is a bad coach but there's nothing saying he is a good coach. He inherited a stacked talented team that had plus .620 winning percentages in the prior seasons rode by binnington playing a god. He has done abysmal since. If we are talking numbers, Travis Greene is a superior coach in every facet as every number is better minus the anomaly. Berube is also not liked by his St Louis players it appears. He isnt my choice, his playoff record is a abysmal, we need much more than he can provide which basically isn't anything

I see no fascination at all with Berube. He's done nothing. Joined a stacked Blues that was carried to the cup by a goalie who has never come close to being that good again. And ironically, Berubes playoff winning % is under.500 with a Stanley cup. Who has a higher one? Travis Greene. Not advocating for Greene obviously but Berube is clearly over hyped for accomplishing well nothing outside of one fluky year

Seems like the devils reddit loves Siegs and think Marino could be on the way out. Baffles me, as even with a down year for Marino, he's still superior to Sieges. At least the eye test. One thing Fitzgerald is good at is Cap maneuvering, so depending on how far Nemec and especially Luke jump, could make it very feasible.

What do you guys realistically and honestly, in your opinion think our defense looks like next year? Are we making Marino expendable, will Hatakka or Casey( just signed his ELC ) make big jumps, add another veteren not named Brendan Smith.

He's good there's no question about that but he does not deserve it over bedard saying otherwise would be a pretty hot take. I respect the opinion Kind of wish there was a separate trophy for defense. Compare an offense to defenses pretty damn hard. Faber didn't even crack 10 goals yet played 82 to Bedards 68. Faber is nice but he absolutely does not in any capacity deserve the award over Bedard.
