Daniel
So I'm thinking about going to Devils/Flyers opening night in Philly with a friend of mine. I saw nosebleed tickets available for $56 each through a broker site. Anyone been to Flyer games who can tell me whether this is a good deal, or if it makes sense to hold out for a better price closer to the start of the season? Snatch them up now, considering it's opening night in Philly
2ELIAS6
its early if you wait till closer to the date i would have to imagine that the price of those will go up nicely.. opening nights are sell out games.
Onddeck
definitely snatch those up. and if you can get there early, go to Xfinity Live for drinks. hate the Flyers as much as you want but I'll be the first to admit the sports complex (and the surrounding areas) are very impressive. If you wanna drink before hand, you will be impressed with Xfinity Live. Its crazy in there, and theres a ton of space

Onddeck
Xfinity Live is so massive though, it would take a lot to see a profit. the fact there is a sport going on in the vicinity of that bar year-round is the only way it can live.. not sure if it would survive in Newark. Still though, i wish we could get that same experience pre-game

Still though, i wish we could get that same experience pre-game Devils already do. When weather permits at Championship Plaza they have a couple of $9 Bud beer stands with no table seating and must drink only in the Plaza, a local cover band no one has heard of or cares about, a couple of cheap mini street hockey setups where the same kids hog playing time non-stop, a couple of overpriced hot dog stands, and maybe a sponsor table where a couple of Devils Dancers stand looking like they wish they were inside instead of being there. Yep, first class pre-game experience brought to you by your NJ Devils!
DJ Eco
Sounds like a great deal; I glanced at the prices a couple weeks ago and saw minimum $80 and up.
