My apologies, When I read "mini" I thought your were referring to size (Arnott 6'4 220 vs Marshall 6'1 200).

I think a mini-Arnie is stretching it a bit thin. For all Arnott's lack of physical play he had a great shot and nice scoring touch. Marshall is more physical and isn't the scoring threat that Arnott was. I love the line potential, hopefully Burns will keep them together. It would be great going into the playoffs with at least two solid scoring lines. P.S. I love the name GEM line.

Nabokov killed the Sharks season when new management would not sign him before the season started. Goalie is a position that requires preseason play to get in shape, you can't rush it. Dafoe is another example of that.

Lombardi is a Lamoriello disciple. Wouldn't be surprised if the Devils hire him in some capacity....which would be great for us.

I agree SC, Gomez is a great player who will get better, his attitude is great and I think Burns can mold him. Niewy, needs to be signed regardless. He is a winner and plays hard every night.

I love Whitey, and his was enamored even more when he crushed Holik in the first period. Its obvious that Nieds/White will be our #1 pairing for the playoffs, which actually helps Rafi's offensive side. What Stevens tonight though, he loves Flyer games.

Patty was great today. The Ranger$ are just pathetic- $10 million for Bure, $9 million for A$$Holik, soon to be $8 million for Kovy and none of them played a big game when the season was on the line. Its always laughable seeing Leetch & Poti trying to play defense! How many short handed breakaways did we get on them today?

Sad to say, but the Devils have been playing poorly of late. I say they lose to another lower tier team on Saturday: Rangers 4- Devils -2 Though I will be cheering most vociferously that the Dev's stick the fork in the Pigs and crush thier playoff hopes. It would be poetic justice and I would love to hear the sweet sounds of chanting at the mercenary A$$Holik.
