Nature's Minister
Lamoriello was at the game. Possible deal in the works?

poohbear
Hill left after the first period, too. Was he hurt? Did anybody see the cause of injury?
Nature's Minister
Hill was in for the entire game, I think. O'Neill left, though.
Guest Devsrule
O'neill had a contusion on his chest.
poohbear
Of course you're right. Duhhh! I have Hill on the brain from that other thread.
LizDevil30
Well we know the word is Hill wants NJ, but does NJ want Hill?
sheeps
Hale won't go. He might not be ready for the big show now, but he will be in the future, and Lou knows that.
Guest Devsrule
but does NJ want Hill? I certainly do.
Weekes Head
I think that's pretty cool, regardless of whether we get him or not, that Hill listed New Jersey as one of the two teams he WANTS to be traded to. Makes me think that maybe he WOULD be a good acquistion, he WANTS to play here and he'd try his best to impress. I'd like having a guy like that around on the team. Guest Devsrule
If thats the case then I dont know whats holding Lou back.
sheeps
If thats the case then I dont know whats holding Lou back. He might have been on the verge of doing it today or recently. Sometimes teams play each other and a deal between the two is made shortly thereafter.
Weekes Head
Lou WAS at the game tonight, and he hadn't been at any of the other games on the road trip. I find that VERY interesting as well. Has and I are talking right now about the idea of picking up Hill...what if we got a package deal for Hill and Irbe? Irbe would hardly cost anything, I'm just not sure of Hill's trade value. What would it take to get Hill though, realistically?
eheaps
Does anybody know what the other team that Hill mentioned was??
smelly
Does anybody know what the other team that Hill mentioned was?? I heard TOR.
Weekes Head
Does anybody know what the other team that Hill mentioned was?? I heard TOR. Actually, that was the team O'Neill listed as his choice destination...
br_hockey
If thats the case then I dont know whats holding Lou back. The thing holding lou back is probably what the devs will have to give up to get hill. i mean, you're not going to get him for a fourth round pick. Don
Why not a fourth round pick? Bomber went for about that.
Guest Devsrule
All the big names have gone for picks and prospects. Sean Hill for Suglobov, 4th round pick in 2004 and 2005
Nature's Minister
He wouldn't cost Suglobov, I hope.
Elias Sports Bureau
I don't think Lou will deal Suglo.
Guest Devsrule
If it gets a quality defensmen or scorer than I dont see why not.
devilsadvoc8
Personnaly I think that sugs and two picks is overpaying.
Elias Sports Bureau
If it gets a quality defensmen or scorer than I dont see why not. Well because that's not the way Lou works. Parise and Suglobov are probably the farm untouchables. And that's what they should be. We still have to have a future.
