Derek21
They said the hit was clean but the coach was furious with Nieuwendyk. http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/news/ap/200211...-johansson.html Nashville loses leading scorer Johansson for up to month November 30, 2002 NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Team-leading scorer Andreas Johansson will miss up to a month for the Nashville Predators because of a separated shoulder. The left wing was hurt Friday night in a 2-1 loss to the New Jersey Devils and is expected to be out two-to-four weeks. ADVERTISEMENT Johansson was held up along the boards by Joe Nieuwendyk and was hit by Colin White. ``It was a clean hit by White, but I have a problem with Nieuwendyk grabbing A.J. around the neck and straightening him out. I didn't get the memo between periods about the rules being changed,'' Predators coach Barry Trotz said.

Z-Man
I guess the Preds didn't need AJ for one night. They just schooled the best team in the NHL 5-2.
aylbert
The Preds are like that though... actually, all teams are like that... Sometime people just step up, the good teams can keep it going past a game or so... -Al
