BlueSkirt
DEVILS BRIEFS: Lamoriello said Burns is "doing well" in his recovery from cancer surgery two weeks ago. "His spirits are good," Lamoriello said. "I'm going to have him do some work, watching some tapes from home. We're going to keep him busy." ... Patrik Elias is also recovering after a severe bout this spring with hepatitis A, and might miss the start of training camp as the continues to slowly rebuild his strength. "Everything is positive," Lamoriello said. "It's progressing, in fact a little better than expected." ... Lamoriello said Scott Stevens "is healthy, looks great and he feels great," and is hopeful the Devils' captain returns to play after missing the final half of 2003-04 with post-concussion syndrome. aylbert
Missing some training camp sounds 10x better than reports that he may never play again... best wishes for his speedy and full recovery...

MantaRay
As long as Patty is 100% by March I can live with a progressive return.
