Derek21
Yeah. He's a real fan. I saw him limping out. He must have really screwed himself up. Man. That sucks. Heck. I can see why he got excited though. They actually had a lead. Oh well.
NJDevs26
Yeah, I agree. That really impressed me at the end of the game. The guy next to me seemed knowledgable about the game, too. (Except for the "Marty's overrated" bit he kept repeating.) I sort of expected the cheer at the end of the game so I can't say I was surprised, the fans were celebrating the overall ray of hope that the season was. Carolina fans essentially did the same thing at the end of the '01 series when they lost but played well at the end. I could have done without this one kid behind me chanting Devils suck! after every Let's Go Rangers! chant at the end though. I wanted to turn around and tell him you just lost (by a combined) 17-4 in four straight, who sucks?

StarDew
Did you hear Engblom as well: Apparently the Devils aren't that good, regardless of our winning streak, winnin the division, etc. We lost to the Rangers: BECAUSE THEY WERE HURT. Let the excuses begin!!!!!!

njdevils2003champs
If funny how all the press say that Martin Brodeur is 0-3 against the Rangers in the playoffs. Initally, when he played in 92, he relieved Chris Terreri right? So I might be asking a crazy question but that still counts even though he didn't play after that and it was all Terreri/Billington? I agree, to say that Marty was 0-3 against the rags is silly. He was not the starter in 1992.
