DevilinLA
Devils have a dozen guys in their 30's - good luck with that formula. Right, god knows it didn't work for Detroit. Old and soft....
Satans Hockey
I feel he just couldn't click with the Sedins and has a better chance with the Rangers. Almost every single Canuck fan believes it to be a solid pick-up and I'll take their word for it. Naslund barely played with the Sedins. I watch every Canucks game. Devils: Sign Fedor FedorovThis one...well... ...he's not even making your team, to be honest. He wasn't signed to play on the team. He was a Lowell pickup who could fill in if there are any injuries. bg.
This made me laugh... Elias 74-20-35-55 Naslund 82-25-30-
sundstrom
This made me laugh...Elias 74-20-35-55 Naslund 82-25-30-55 what did? same points, except: Elias played 8 less game, elias plays center and wing, elias is far younger, elias had his worst year in since he's become an elite player whereas naslund has been in steady decline. Mike441
I seriously believe if you put a bright orange cone out there, it would be better than Malik. i think you are right about that one, i think the same can be said about Roszival as well
Rangerfans
i think you are right about that one, i think the same can be said about Roszival as well I respectively disagree. Nonetheless, I don't believe that Roszival is worth 5 million. Then again, what UFA d-man is?
$$BigTime$$
Sorry but the way this works out is:Jagr, Avery, Shanahan, Tyutin for Naslund, Zherdev, Fritsche, Redden Thats a downgrade. Naslund does not create his own opportunities, nor others for his teammates. He shoots, which is a good thing, but hes not the premier scorer he was several years ago. Jagr is a more dynamic player than him. Avery is much better than Fritsche will ever be, as painful as it is to say. Shanahan despite his age gave 100 percent even when he was injured and was still a force on the PP. Zherdev while talented, is a headcase and when the puck is controlled by the other team, is essentially useless, a ghost. Redden is and always has been overrated. Hes a shell of what he was four or five years ago. At this point, I dont know whether theres a dramatic difference in ability and potential return between Tyutin and Redden. I agree. I feel when you rip out CORE players like Avery, Jagr that hurts a team. If the Rangers kept those two guys and added this talent around Avery and Jagr then yes they would be a really good team and a scary team. I feel we are in alot better shape this year because we didn't lose key guys and added good players to this team.
NJTommo44
Can anyone else envision the Rangers going after, the still available, Todd Bertuzzi and reuniting him with Naslund? Reuniting two players, who had great success together 6 years ago, is a text book Rangers move.

I still don't see how people can say they are even a little better than last year.

Todd's never been the same since the hit...Naslund hasn't either..that would be a dumb move..I could see them doing it.. I still want to throw up everytime I remember he's a Rag now...
