RowdyFan42
Yes, it's politics, but it's also hockey-related, so I thought it might work in Hell. If it needs to be moved, so be it. -=-=-=-=-=- Mike Richter may be running for Congress. There's going to be a special election in upstate NY to determine who will replace Kirsten Gillibrand in the House of Representatives; Gillibrand was, of course, named by Gov. David Patterson to take over Hillary Clinton's Senate seat. Apparently Richter's name has popped up as one of the possibilities on the Democratic side: http://www.dailyfreeman.com/articles/2009/...d8066976237.txt http://www.poststar.com/articles/2009/01/2...f7699468708.txt http://capitalnews9.com/content/headlines/...t-/Default.aspx I didn't realize ol' Mike was into politics. Actually I remember a few years ago there was an article saying he was toying with the idea when they had said he was going to Yale. BTW, why is this site running so slow today? RowdyFan42
Update: He's not gonna run. He's rather focus on his family and running his business, a private equity firm.
ALBDEVSFAN
Being from this area I find this funny, I think it be cool if Richter got in, as long as it isn't Benita Zahn I don't care.
