Shorthander
Why do they refer to it being the third cup in nine years, when it is their third cup in seven years. Can anyone explain. Just wondering.

eldon
While you did miscalculate, 2003 minus 1995 certainly does sound like it's 8 years, simply because it was 8 yrs.ago that we won it. And technically since it was June 24th 95, it is 3 cups in under 8 yrs. But then I convince myself that had we won it in back-to-back years it wouldn't be 2 cups in 1 year, but 2 cups in 2 seasons or 2 years. I guess it is 3 Cups in 3 (squared) years. (I'm still about 8 hrs. short on sleep this week).
Shorthander
Eldon - Thank you for the very simple explanation. I knew it was less than 9 years!
David Puddy
Better way of putting it: 3 cups in 9 attempts/seasons. The '95 cup was for the '94-'95 season, so really you should be doing 2003 minus 1994, which is actually 9.
