NJDevs4978
This is just my guess: Thursday, October 2 home opener against Carolina. The October 2 I came up with cause Doc said at the parade the banner raising would be 110 days away. The Carolina is just a calculated guess. I'll probably be dead wrong though
Pineview
Is the banner-raising ceremony always the held at the first home game?
Zamode
Excellent, now I can plan my year! I'm going to guess October 8, 9 or 10th. (Montreal still) Tomorrow is Claude's birthday! Two reasons to celebrate! Someone kindly post please... I don't have the daily Ledger anymore. Thanks!

BlueSkirt
New breakdown for Games: 6 vs. your Division 4 vs. your Conference 1 vs. other Conference 3 "Wild-card" for Rivalries etc. Basically, they've taken away 7 games from "Other Conference" opponents. 4 of those go to the extra game vs. your Division opponents. 3 of those become the "Wild Card" games. Example of wild card game might be DET/TOR. They used to be regular opponents, but now only face each other once per season. So, use a wild card game to get a sellout. Plus, more Division games (less other conference games) reduces travel costs. And guess who benefits from lower costs? But we (fans) benefit from extra games vs. Divisional opponent. eldon
That's interesting. If I could choose, I'd have 1 extra vs. nyr, f-ers & isles. I guess we'll know in 2 hrs.
DeVFaN
Id love to have Anaheim come back as one of those wild card games. Extra games vs the Rangers are always good, free wins
Zamode
I always liked the Av, Detroit and Stars games.
