littleton_devil
I watched a bit of the Coyote~Canuck tilt last night and I could swear that Van Earl Wright or some VEW-wannabe was calling the play for Phoenix ... was it Wright? sammyk
Heh, I like their announcer...seems to get into it, and sound like he has constipation all at the same time!
Guest Devsrule
I cannot stand that guy. He talks so annoying when there is a scramble for the puck or something. I agree with Sammyk on the constipation part.
insanity_gallops
He bothers me... probably because he sounds just as excited when the opposition scores as when the Coyotes put one home.

insanity_gallops
Emerick is, but not as bad. He sounds more surprised when the other team scores. This guy... he sounds almost as excited as when "the good guys" score. And I'm sorry, but when you're talking about a local network broadcaster, he damn well better be much more excited when the home team scores! Nieuwy25
I can't stand listening to that guy. He manages to sound excited yet monotone at the same time. He never changes inflection or timing, just gets louder.
DevilMinder
I thought you guys were overreacting to the PHX guy but I am listening to him now. He does sound overly excited, gets on the nerves fast.

Are you watching the Yotes/Kings game on Center Ice??? If so, how are you getting the Yotes broadcast and I'm getting the Kings?
Weekes Head
Did Emrick do today's game? I could have sworn I heard Loughlin's voice when I was watching the highlights before...
njdevils_info
Yah, Emrick did this afternoon's game. check out the highlights on my site, he's the one talking
RowdyFan42
According to the Coyotes' web site, their PBP guy is Curt Keilback and the color analyst is Charlie Simmer. Also, apparently they do both TV and radio, unlike most teams.
RowdyFan42
BTW, the Hockey Broadcast Info Center is a great resource for TV/radio/internet information from all of the North American pro leagues.
Devildude
Hey.. I like Emerick... he is a cool guy and a good announcer.. now those clowns at Espn... they make me cringe.. they can not even get players names right... or do they only do it to the Devils because they are bitter flyer fans..
