I can't believe you guys think the Rags are better than FLA, COL, DAL, and EDM. The Capitals didn't even deserve to be in the show and the Canes are absolutely choking right now(though their ability to score has always been an issue in the playoffs so this isn't that surprising with sh!tstork in net). I still don't think the Rags win sh!t.

Boston is going to make that a series and the cats will be banged up and the Rags are going to waltz into the ECF on a long break.

I am not saying it didn't happen, I don't have a clue, but why would Brady approve Green just because he played with his dad? He wants to win and Green made 1 playoff appearance as a HC in his career. Def some 3 or 4-D chess.

It's a pipe dream but I think there is enough to tie Brady to NJ that it is at least plausible. Extremely unlikely, but plausible. Fitz family connection, he has only lost in Ottawa, close friends with Hughes bros, Wife and her family are all from NJ, he fits on NJ and fills a need.

Especially UT in Austin. You get more than 3 people on the sidewalk there on campus and they got a swat team on horseback ready to drag you out of town.

Between the need for a G and the rose colored rumors of Brady Tkachuk I think the pick had a high likelihood of being traded regardless of what happened.
