This state is not cursed. Generally speaking, the people that live in NJ have no pride in being from here. Most identify with being from NY, even though they live in Livingston. They are attracted to the myth of NYC, and are lemmings led around by what they are force fed through the media. Not all are like that, but I'd say a majority. You nailed it Chuck, there isn't enough state pride and it's sickening to me... People like that don't fvcking get it, and likely never will. YOU AREN'T FROM fvckING NEW YORK. THE ONLY ASSOCIATION YOU HAVE WITH NEW YORK IS BECAUSE OF SHEER PROXIMITY. YOU LIVE IN AND ARE FROM AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT fvckING STATE. TAKE SOME MOTHERfvckING PRIDE IN IT. End rant/yelling.

Nycfc is also owned by awful oil money . I'd rather support an awful energy drink then that garbage and their awful beliefs. Plus they are Manchester city lite and play in awful Yankee Stadium. The MLS has screwed up the MLS in this area because both teams aren't ideal whatsoever. Im from NY but I've supported the metrostars / red bull way before nycfc was ever even thought of. Plus their fans and supporters are awful.
