  1. "Gettin' real sick of your sh!t, selfie guy." - Cory Schneider, probably.
  2. I was in the lower level for the game in November and was fine. Probably going to wind up going Tuesday and paying just as much for the nosebleeds as I did for lowers four months ago, but whatever. I'm likely flying solo so I don't anticipate too much of an issue.
  3. It's close but not that close - Miller's in Langhorne PA will put on the game if you ask them to. I've watched games there a few times, good food.
  4. I don't know how high we has projected, but he was drafted in the same draft as Wedgewood, a few rounds after. So I don't imagine he was ever expected to amount to too much.
  5. Yeah, Chere mis-reported it as Florida at first. It's Orlando though, per TG and other sources.
  6. He winds up in Orlando with the old Trenton Titans coach and some of the Titans players from last year. Weird because he wasn't playing for the Titans last year that I recall, I think he's always been in Elmira. Wonder what the reasoning is in putting him with the Solar Bears.
  7. Still no solid explanation on Clermont though. Kinkaid backed up Wedgewood today.
  8. Let's throw a little more fire on all this... Larsson and Gelinas are scratched in Albany right now. Okay, likely getting called back up tomorrow, sure. Maxime Clermont just got called up to Albany: http://myemail.constantcontact.com/Clermont-Reassigned-to-Albany.html?soid=1102789713664&aid=8tJA1XtR3qA Because I'm a logical man, I believe that Clermont is up because Kinkaid perhaps aggravated his injury playing this weekend. Wedgewood is starting in Albany today. But I suppose this also could point to a Brodeur thing too.
  9. If you didn't just say this aloud in the dude's voice when you read it, you weren't a true cattle bridge-bridge Devils fan.
  10. Yeah I kind of miss the cow tunnel. I was pretty convinced I was going to die in it, the floorboards giving way to drop me onto Route 3, after the first Stanley Cup parade. That was pretty insane. Even the newer concrete one was cool.
  11. LOTCB - Legend of the Clown Banners. I've been to the Meadowlands twice since the Devils left...a Coldplay show (don't laugh, really good show) and a WWE event (okay you can laugh now, terrible event). The first time was a little weird, for reasons everyone else has mentioned. The second time I busted my shin when I tripped on a step heading up to my seat and it felt like home again for a few blindingly painful moments.
  12. If these are online, any chance you could post a link to some of those resources you mention as far as how the Rockies moved to NJ? I've got some basic knowledge on the subject but would really like to learn more about it.
  13. I read somewhere on Twitter saying it should be out around 2 PM Monday. Unclear as to whether that's our time or Sochi time, though I would think Sochi time (which, if my math is right [probably isn't], would be 5 AM tomorrow).
  14. Tomorrow: Austria/Norway 3 AM USA/Slovenia 7:30 AM Russia/Slovakia 7:30 AM Finland/Canada Noon Czech Republic is done for the opening round (after losing to Switzerland 1-0 today) and waiting to see if they advance.
  15. Per TG: The full USA-Russia game will be replayed on NBCSN beginning at 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Just OT and the shootout will be on NBC tonight.
  16. I feel like Seattle & Quebec City are the most likely choices, with Las Vegas and Kansas City being just behind. But if they do that, they're going to have to completely re-think the league's alignment. No way any eastern time zone teams move to the western conference. Can't help but wonder if they'd look to a AL/NL, AFC/NFC type setup. I get that both of those have historical connotations, but the league is so east-heavy (and would be moreso if you add Quebec back into the mix) that it might be a choice to at least look at.
  17. I voted yes. Just a strange gut feeling. If I had to guess where he lands, it's Minnesota or maybe Chicago. Also the discussion of the "secret meeting" has thrown this song into my head that like exactly three people on this board will like but I'm posting it anyway...
  18. Updated the list, new prices. Thanks for looking, let me know if you would like photos of anything you may be interested in.
  19. Hey all, I've updated a list of Devils items I'm looking to sell, please check out the thread in the Marketplace. Could use the extra cash, and I've got some neat stuff. PM for photos. Thank you!

  20. http://www.hockey-reference.com/boxscores/199303290NJD.html Devils vs. Sharks, March 29th, 1993. Stephane Richer scored a natural hat trick, Chris Terreri had the shutout. All five goals were scored in the second period, and of course I was in the upper bowl behind the net the Devils shot at in the first and third periods. The Sharks were in their second season, terrible, and in the midst of something like a 13 game road losing streak. This was their 10th road loss in a row apparently. I've been to hundreds of games since, and have yet to see a second Devils hat trick in person.
  21. Nope, smaller. Most arenas league-wide are 18-20K I believe. Under 17K is a rarity (off the top of my head, the Isles and Winnipeg are among the only ones with a smaller capacity than the Rock this season, though there may be a few others).
  22. The size of the arena (especially this year with fewer seats being counted) pretty much makes it physically impossible for the Devils not to be bottom third of the league in attendance. A sellout every night is still less than 17,000.
  23. Bright Lights Big City. Guess Cee-Lo Green makes sense. Not a great song or artist but they could do worse. For ha-has, can we get him to wear an Andy Greene jersey during the performance? I mean we ARE the home team...
  24. They've done it for a few years now. I think it's likely in part to try to grow a fanbase in Jersey but more to draw fans of local teams (they keep playing Wilkes-Barre [Pens affiliate], Hershey [Caps] and the Phantoms [Flyers affiliate, who are moving back to eastern PA next year]).
