NJDevs4978
I'm not even that displeased with the walk although the wild pitch didn't help. Guess it's finally Familia time now but with zero margin of error.
Colorado Rockies 1976
OK...at least TC isn't letting game rest with Clippard.

NJDevs4978
OK...at least TC isn't letting game rest with Clippard. No although I'd rather have not let it get to the point where they just get a dunker and boom they remove the veneer of invincibility around Familia. Still can't complain about the two K's after the leadoff double, that was about the best I could have expected from Clippard there.

NJDevs4978
I'd rather he have given up the dunker in the eighth now, his veneer of invincibility is REALLY gone after that.

NJDevs4978
What a gut punch Brings back memories of (I hate to say it) the Scoscia HR off Doc in '
'7'
Colon is such HR risk himself. But yea. No other options Mets have picked themself off the mat all year. Let's see what they got Edited October 28, 2015 by '7'

NJDevs4978
Wade Davis > Familia tonight although to be fair the HR is still shocking to me cause of how easily Familia got his first two guys out, and got the next two guys out after the HR. capo
That was Benitez circa 2000. Bad omen
'7'
Well, tomorrow is another day. We got deGrom...let's see this team respond. Nothing about this Royals starting pitching worries me. This team hasnt had a gut punch im a while. I suppose we were due. But got damn. Two outs to go and Familia lets up a HR. Karma was...it just feels like the Benitez blown save in 2000
NJDevs4978
Well guess Niese gets his big chance here <goes to hide under the covers> Well, tomorrow is another day. Two outs to go and Familia lets up a HR. Karma was...it just feels like the Benitez blown save in 2000 Benitez got nickel and dimed to death though, this was more like the Scoscia HR in '88 to me. And what made it so shocking was just how easily Familia got his first two outs and got the next two after the HR. He only needed 13 pitches to get through 1.1 innings, unfortunately only twelve were good. Hmmph, not a bad inning from a guy that's barely pitched in the last month.
