The D does not seem to clear the defensive zone on that first attempt, and at times that results in a shot on net. Ahh, the days of '97 & '98, when as soon as it was on the D's stick it was off the boards & out of the zone. This is one area where I really want to see some improvement soon, and I think it (clearing the zone very efficiently) will be a big key to playoff success.
