But the Avs are looking to make a huge push for the playoffs, they just got Sakic back, Stastny is coming back soon as well. Though I am sensing a hint of desperation from the organization, they feel as if they have to make the playoffs each year. But they are still not good enough to play with Dallas, Anahiem, and Detroit who have to be considered the 3 favorites in in the west.
