Masked Fan
Bottom line. Do you want a game 7 to be in the Garden or the Rock? I say, the ROCK!!! GO DEVILS!!!
Matteau#32
Can't really use the Rangers playing Gomez at the last game as an example. Nothing had been decided at that point and the division was still there for the taking. I'd like to see Renney start Valiquette, and rest Gomez, maybe even Shanahan. Jimmy Leeds
I'd rather the Devs lose Sunday and let the Rangirls think they are gonna cruise through the first round............then beat 'em. And shut their a-hole fans up. Especially that Steve Sommers jagoff.

nycnjd
Um...of course they are going to play everyone, and go for home ice.
Matteau#32
Not to put the cart before the horse, but if the Rangers win in regulation tomorrow, the series will start thursday as the Knicks play at home wednesday night. They also play at home Friday night, so we'd be looking at a Thursday-Saturday start most likely. If the Devs get the 4th seed, only Knick game that might impact is next monday. Doesn't seem like there is anything scheduled at New Brendan Byrne that would impact the schedule regardless of who has home-ice.
devilsfan26
I just dont think it is as important as it seems. It's not as if either teams calls the old Chicago Stadium home. Neither building is intimidating for opponents.
95Crash
Let's just win this game and take it from there. No more excuses already. Let's play hockey!
Satans Hockey
LAST CHANGE IN LINES! Thats why home ice is so important not because of the fans.

SatansDevils
Good post there Rangerfans and happen to agree with you. Any one of those games this season between the NYR and the Devils could have gone either way but the Devils had no luck where the NYR had all the luck. Some of the NYR players know this as well as they did say it in some articles this season like Gomez and Lundqvist. They know this is going to be a tough series and it will be a tight series just like every game this season was. I am just hoping the luck has ran out for the NYR and it is the Devils turn now. Throw away what has happened in the regular season. Today is really the first game of the playoffs for both teams and when the playoffs actually begins everyone starts at 0-0 and it is totally a different animal in the playoffs. '7'
The Devils haven't gotten a single break against the Rangers all season, and every game we have played them has been close. So the worm is bound to turn one of these days.
Jimmy Leeds
Rangers have scored 8 more goals then the Devs........8 '94 the Devs lost all 6 and should/would have won that series if Chorske scores into the open net in the second period of Game 6. Matteau#32
I dont like home ice advantage THAT much actually.. I rather play Games 3 and 4 at home..
Matteau#32
I will admit, when they got to the 3rd period down 2-1, I did want home-ice. Oh well.
