I always yelled at him about being an Avs fan so unless he got really irritated or felt like someone was being mean spirited I'd guess he's just taking a break. WC didn't understand the ? guys...The reason he doesn't have it up is because he doesn't care for it much and he is more into having a devils av then a marilyn. Also, I love my avatar... Anyways, I was just having fun; usually guys will have the pretty girl as an avatar (Red with Pamela for an example or 7 with Courtney Cox a while back ) and likewise. NJDevs4978 Posted July 17, 2003 Share Posted July 17, 2003 On a more serious note: As far as the SBT/HOS goes if he chooses not to post for a week, for a month, forever, that's his decision. He's one of a kind, and certainly an asset to the board. With him or without him though, this is still fundamentally a good board. I will say this though: One thing about the SBT/HOS - he is too classy to stick around to pick fights with other posters. Quite a few of you haven't been as classy lately. I really hate to talk in general terms and not name names, but I don't want to START any new fights either (especially now) so I won't name names. Nobody, even those who I'm talking about above needs to defend themselves. It's water under the bridge now. What we have to concentrate on is keeping this a place that we all like coming to, and not a place where the fighting's been so pronounced this offseason we've had at least three or four fairly well-known posters go on sabbatical/leave recently. Generally, we are good people. We are also fairly smart posters. I don't see why we shouldn't get along, personality differences and all. ESPECIALLY since it's the offseason of our content and not the offseason of our discontent as the last couple of offseasons were We do need to be more tolerant of each other and also be careful about jumping to conclusions over things we read that may come out the wrong way over the internet.
