  1. I got on a plane in Detroit and it was 4-1. I landed and checked the score to see the final tally and was like, "Holy Sh*t!!!" I read yesterday that was the first time since being in Jersey they had come back from 3 goals down in the 3rd on the road to win. Nice win boys

  2. I agree with and understand both points. While I really don't like losing Boucher, for the reasons you described above, I also didn't want to see JJ let go either, because as long as the shootout is around and can possibly get you an extra point, it's worth keeping him on the roster, if even just for that. It has already helped us a few times, and with our current roster and being a fringe playoff team, a point here or there from a game like that could actually be quite critical. That aside, like I said I was not in favor of losing Boucher at all, and I think he definitely had potential. I also have no idea why they wouldn't send Quenville back down (even though I am also REALLY excited to see him get a shot soon), so that Hall could come up without having to waive and lose someone. Just makes absolutely no sense to me. Has to be more personal reasons and feelings behind the scenes that we don't know about because the hockey ones just don't add up.

  3. Gronk's future in NE might depend on how far they go in the playoffs, if they end up in the Super Bowl they might see Gronk as a luxury (though I don't trust Bennett being anywhere near as good...he's notorious for being awesome in September and doing little the rest of the season), and I'm more apt to think Oakland or KC can knock them off without that big difference making guy on offense....but if a desperate team offers something stupid (like a first or a high 2nd round pick) ....I can see the Pats cutting bait and selling high....or this is just part of the "fantasy owner rage" and being on the "screw this guy" bandwagon

  4. I agree with everything you said here. Josefson isn't the more useful player in an all around situation. Boucher needs to play top 6 with a puck mover on his line to be effective. That said, I don't understand calling up Quennville and keeping him up only to waive Boucher a day later. I would have sent JQ down to make room for Hall.

  5. Josefson can still be a useful when he isn't putting the puck in the net, the same can't be said about Boucher. If Reid isn't scoring, he doesn't bring anything else to the team; honestly I'd much rather have JJ on our roster than Boucher, I think to this point Bouch has shown he can't bring anything unless he's playing in the top 6, and there's not a spot for him there.
