SatansDevils Posted December 17, 2008 Share Posted December 17, 2008 (edited) Devils lost a tough one last night and hopefully the Devils and Clemmensen will bounce back with a win tonight over Buffalo. Not sure who is going to start in goal, but with Weekes playing terribly and losing twice to Buffalo this season, I would think it would be Clemmensen tonight to get the start. Devils need to stay out of the penalty box because their PK is what killed them in the last meeting vs. Buffalo. The PP has to take advantage and scratch the 5-forwards on the PP idea. Andy Greene is off the IR and could play tonight although Sutter said it is unlikely and could be a gametime decision for him. Start a new winning streak Devils tonight in Buffalo. Time for some payback in their own arena. Get the win Devils and get er done. LETS GO DEVILS!!!! For some good luck tonight. Clemmensen made 25 saves in Tuesday night's 3-2 shootout loss in Toronto. It will be the first time this season that Clemmensen will start in games on consecutive nights for the Devils, but he has played on back-to-back days many times in the AHL. "He's done it before," Sutter said. "Really last night he didn't have a lot of work, not a lot of difficult work. He made some big saves when he had to, but I don't think he had [moments] where you would sit there and say, 'Wow. There were a lot of quality scoring chances.' Clemmensen looks to be getting the knod again tonight, and hopefully we can end this one in regulation. On with the NHL.com preview...
