Last week at the Ocean County Mall, I purchased the panoramic framed picture in this link. I frankly only forked over the $100 solely because I could see my nephew wife & me in tiny dots sitting in section 206. Not sure if mine is the deluxe frame (if which I did OK) or the regular frame (which I paid more). Hey 26; I was in the same boat as you. I think it's ridiculous to pay $17 or $18 for FSNY/mo; when MSG has more expensive (tv contracted) teams & costs nothing. Here is what you do. Call Comcast (1-888-comcast) & ask if they are running any specials. I did this last year asking for the Disney channel & they said like $16/month (same as their price list); then I asked what Fox Sports cost. She put me on hold for a minute, came back & said they have a special for $8/month. So I got it. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose. It also might work to have your dad call. My parents had HBO; they called to cancel it because it is close to $20/month; they said they are seniors on fixed income & just can't afford that; they put him on hold & offered it for $10/month for a year. The last time they did that; it ended up being like 3 years before they started charging the LIST price. Good Luck!

When I first read the title of this post, I thought the fans were protesting that they have to play us in our banner-raising game. The funny thing is with the Devils success, ESPECIALLY this year, where our big pre-deadline acqusitions were Rheaume, Marshall & Smehlik; it must piss off fans of the Leafs, Flyers among others, that we won with our roster. It's great to be a Devil fan.

The reason I have no passion about baseball anymore is because of the players, not the owners. (I've never gotten over the 94 strike & have not attended a baseball game since Aug. 94). Selig surely has his faults, but contracting I don't think is one of them. I too think Florida is great for spring training, not for reg.season. I think contracting the 3 teams '7' mentions would benefit baseball. Problem is you have to contract an even # of teams, so either 2 or 4, I don't know who the 4th one would be. And I don't understand why the change in the all-star game caused such a ruckus. I think anything is better than alternating home field. That was always the worst method of determining home field. Maybe there is a better way, like whichever league does better in head-to-head during inter-league play would also be an improvement. I'm just anti-player & anti-player's union. Teams like last year's Twins & this year's Royals, do prove that you can win with low salary structure.

I voted Maybe; I am waiting on some August birthday dates. I'd like to play as well. Woodbridge is good, if it was closer to the shore, I'd be doubtful.

Besides the part of winning the Cup, you knew payroll would be cut somewhat. If you didn't, you can't expect top third in the league in payroll, with bottom or near bottom in attendance, tv revenue, merchandising, etc. Lou da man.

Game 7 vs. Ottawa WAS a classic to any fan. Great game, drama, etc. As was 2000 Game 7 vs. Philly. These should be shown in time as much as 94 gms 6 & 7. ESPN does seem to find Devil losses way more "classic" than Devil wins.
