My family had a yellow lab who was the best dog in the world. We had to put him down three years ago. I just saw Marley & Me and could not help crying.

I am soo bored and watching the blackhawks game online. I've adopted the blackhawks as my new favorite west team.

I didn't want to post this in the game thread as to not annoy anyone, but I need to say this ... is it just me or did Parise look extra adorable today? Especially when they were asking him about Shanahan? Or maybe there's just something wrong with me today. anyway, yeah, the "snuggie" = dumb.

I'm going to be all pessimistic and say no, but it would be amazing if they ever got the chance to.

I did okay on my GRE, thanks. I think I could have done better, but we'll see what schools I get into with my current score. If I don't get in anywhere I guess I can take them again and re apply. As far as the car thing goes I was thinking about buying a used car. My dad is trying to discourage me from going this route as he says, "you don't know how that person drove the car. you can be buying someone's headache!" but at the end of the day it's my money so obviously it's up to me. My credit is okay, I have a credit card that I use monthly and pay back on time. I inherited a small amount of money from my grandmother when she passed away and can use it on a down payment for a car. It just stresses me out to think of yet another thing I'll have to pay for monthly - especially since I'll be in school full time come sept (well, hopefully in school!). I'm looking at the Mazda3, Honda Civic Coupe, and the Scion TC as of right now.

I'm very sorry for your loss. My nana died on July 5th this year and my grandmother passed away very recently on December 2nd. It has been very difficult losing both of them within five months of each other as we were close. When I get upset thinking about them being gone - I try to focus on all the good memories I have of them. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Is that place any good? There is one near where I work and I've been meaning to give it a try. Also, my parents just informed me I'm going to have to buy a car in the spring. This means I probably won't save enough money to move out until I'm 40. But seriously, I have no idea about cars and car financing or any of that stuff.

What time do you think I should get there? (and are you generally on line until the start of the game? I'm just wondering because my friends and I wanted to get the tickets and go to a bar for a bit before the game starts)

Ohh Holik.. The Chimpunk Song is an interesting choice.... I personally like Silent Night, Carol of the Bells, and I have to agree with Elias about Mariah Carey. I have to admit I like any of her christmas song renditions.

I loved learning about the history behind the ruins and buildings in Italy. There was a lot to see and learn though and it was a little bit overwhelming to try to retain all of it. After some research from other boards I believe in the first picture the brunette in the middle is Marty's wife and the blonde next to her is Zach's gf (not the one with the hat or turtleneck, the other one.) I'm guessing in the other pictures the girl with the red hair is Clarkson's girlfriend - but I'm just guessing since she's wearing his jersey.
