thelastonealive
I appreciate it getting it's own thread, though. That trade thread's already 40-odd pages long, it's a lot to go through if you're not here all the time. Minor trades, I can dig through the trade thread at my leisure, but a big one like this, I'm glad someone posted it elsewhere too.

DevilNurn
Wow, just saw this. This is huge. I think Heatley just hasn't been effective in SJ so they're taking a chance. But wow, after that huge ordeal to get him they trade him to someone much different, IMO more risky.

That's true...wasn't so much an ordeal for them as his whole process with the Sens/Oilers and that stuff...but SJ just took him when he became available. Hence why I posted a screen grab before it got taken down. It was clearly meant to be amusing.

SatansDevils
Can't believe this was a straight up trade. Heatley > Havlat. Minnesota stole Heatley from San Jose. Suprised there was not another player going to San Jose with Havlat.
RizzMB30
I'm sure Heatley will throw a little hissy fit once Minnesota can't win games and he'll be traded at the deadline. Heatley is bad business.
Guest BelieveinBrodeur
Stupid. shut up , I never knew that didn't pay attention to news back to Hockey news then
halfsharkalligatorhalfman
Heatley is much better than Havlat, though I suppose Havlat has a better contract, and Heatley must have worn out his welcome.

Havlat has better feet then Heatley. Other then that they are pretty damn even when it comes to the points they put up.

overtime98
Heatley is better than Havlat but seriously would you want your team giving up more than someone like Havlat for Healtley? No.
