thelastonealive
Okay here goes...I gathered together all the random MP3s on this computer so I had something a little newer and closer to what I listen to for this set. Of course, my father and brother also use this computer, so I can't be accountable if The Good Rats or the Original Broadway Recording from Wicked shows up... 1. TV On The Radio f/ Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails and Peter Murphy of Bauhaus - Dreams (Live) 2. TV On The Radio - Wasted Weekend (hmmm...) 3. Rachel Z - Tonight, Tonight (really pretty piano and timpani cover of Smashing Pumpkins) 4. Klaxons - Magick (I love this song. I think it would actually make pretty good hockey arena music, too) 5. Ryan Adams - Halloweenhead 6. Royksopp - Go With The Flow (live Queens of the Stone Age cover)...glitchy Icelandic pop-rock, covering QOTSA. Very awesome. 7. The Pillows - Sexx Laws (live Beck cover...what have we learned so far? I download lots of TVOTR, and cover songs) 8. Ben Kweller - Walk On Me (First song that's not actually mine, though I enjoy Mr. Kweller) 9. Decemberists - The Perfect Crime 2 10. The Cloud Room - Hey Now Now (In all honestly, quite possibly one of the most perfect songs ever written) This was so fun I'm gonna do another, again: 1. Teddybears - Punkrocker (f/ Iggy Pop) 2. Dillinger Escape Plan - Come To Daddy (f/ Mike Patton - Aphex Twin cover) 3. The Twilight Singers - Crazy (live Gnarls Barkley cover) 4. Flunk - True Faith (New Order cover) - I like this one coz it's slow and acoustic and possibly Swedish. 5. Brand New - Degausser 6. Placebo - Every You, Every Me 7. The Zambonis - Hockey Monkey (HELL YES!) 8. New Radicals - You Get What You Give (HELL YES x2!!) 9. VAST - Like God (HELL YES HAT TRICK!!!) 10. Bouncing Souls - Ole! (I've started singing Ole when the Devils score goals and that Zombie Nation song is on...it'll never catch on but god I wish it would...) Hot damn I like good music. DevilNurn
1. Sympathy For the Devil - Rolling Stones 2. Last Gang in Town - The Clash 3. Dig for Fire - Pixies 4. Tie Your Mother Down - Queen 5. Where the Streets Have No Name - U2 6. I Just Don't Understand - The Beatles 7. The World Has Turned And Left Me Here - Weezer 8. Black Math - The White Stripes 9. Shine On You Crazy Diamond - Pink Floyd 10. Polar Opposites - Modest Mouse Really strange that I got almost all my favorite bands in there and all different artists. But it makes sense, I have a ton of songs, and a lot of them are concentrated into certain artists. Only unrepresented favorites are Barenaked Ladies, Radiohead and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Ooh who had Death from Above 1979? They're great, I just forgot about them since they broke up...
