Satans Hockey
if they stopped trying to fix the damn ice every 5mins the game could have been over 30mins ago.

'7'
This hasn't been a very good game, few scoring chances
devils26
They need to give up on fixing all of these holes in the ice. Just let them play.

Satans Hockey
and we are heading to OT but the Pens took a penalty so they Sabres are going to start OT with a PP Edited January 1, 2008 by Satans Hockey
Vinnie
Penalty on the Pens at the end of regulation.....let's go buff-a-lo
thefiestygoat
Wow, a hooking call with seconds left. Buffalo will have a nice power play for overtime.
Satans Hockey
I really want to see the Sabres score on this PP and I don't want to see a shootout. This game has been dragged on long enough. btw this hockey commercial for the nhl mobile video alerts by verizon is a horrible commercial. It says NHL fans aren't like other fans, and it shows a guy being loud and obnoxious and saying his new baby is better than all the other babys. Good job promoting the positive things about the sport and its fans. Edited January 1, 2008 by Satans Hockey
devils26
I agree. There hasn't been a ton of action and whenever it seems to pick up there is a delay. I am still thrilled they are doing this but the delays kind have made me lose interest. Hell, I spent the past couple minutes listening to Brady Quinn and getting my free EAS sample. RowdyFan42
Yes, let's not fix the holes in the ice... then someone will skate over one of those holes and tear their MCL. Excellent. I'd rather they take the time to make sure the ice is safe instead of just breezing through and hoping nothing bad happens.

thefiestygoat
Obviously if it was dangerous the ice should be fixed, but what they were repairing didn't seem to be very dangerous. I couldn't even see any hole from the angle that NBC was showing.
Satans Hockey
Play really picked up in the 2nd half of that OT. I don't think the players wanted to go to a shootout. Sadly we are heading to a shootout.
Vinnie
Ugh. Figures this ends in a shootout.

Weekes Head
Naturally, Crosby wins the game. After watching all 900 hours of this game, I've decided that outdoor games are lovely in theory, but I would never sit through something like this again. That's just me though. Satans Hockey
I thought the Montreal-Edmonton was much better run and overall a better game as well.

thefiestygoat
Well put RD and '7'. Like Devils26 said, if they could perfect the outdoor game, it would be awesome, but I doubt they can ever fight mother nature that much. I was super pumped up for this but by the end of it I was just happy to see it end. One of the more boring games that I have seen in recent years.
