thefiestygoat
The longer this goes on the more nervous I am getting. I just don't want to be let down, it seemed an hour ago it was all but inevitable that he was signing here, now there is all this doubt in my head. Argh! Louis Lamoriello
Just putting the final touches on this deal. This is a quality individual and a player of Ilya's calibur is something our franchise would like to be a part of for many years to come. We are finalizing this deal at the Panera bread in Hoboken, NJ. Please feel free to stop by and show your support. PS This photo really sealed the deal for me to get this done. I aplogize, I was down at the Jersey Shore enjoying the beautiful weather and celebrating America's Birthday. Also, try to frozen strawberry lemonade. Ilya and I are currently sipping on that very delightful and satisfying drink. We will be leaving soon as Grossman is waiting outside on our expired meter. You all know how Hoboken can be with their meters. More to come soon, Im posting this all from my iPhone. Thanks again to our great fans for all of their support! -L Edited July 5, 2010 by Louis Lamoriello

Louis Lamoriello
This is actually a prototype iPhone, on the Verizon network which will be available later this year. I really have no idea besides that as my son Christopher set this up for me. Im downloading an "app" (I believe that's what it is referred to) and the "app" is called "Twitter." Not sure if many of you are familiar with that or not but again, Im hoping my son Christopher will brief me on how to use this, or possibly Grossman. -L

Z-Man
Question to those lurking in the thread, waiting for news... IF Kovy were to sign, how would everyone feel about a Malakhov-type salary dump? Trade Rolston and our 1st round pick next year to *insert-team-that-needs-to-reach-the-cap-floor* for a mid-round pick in return?

Hopefully a 2nd round pick can do the trick if your sending Rolston to a team that needs A. To add some salary and B. Trade Rolston and our 1st round pick next year to *insert-team-that-needs-to-reach-the-cap-floor* for a mid-round pick in return? I'd rather not give up a first round pick, but I get the feeling that might be what it comes to. The only issue there is, Rolston's not going to waive his NTC to go to somewhere like the Islanders. Hell, he may not waive it to go anywhere at all. I get the feeling Salvador is certainly a goner, and perhaps someone like Zubrus, who may have played his way into trade desirability last season.
