I like it cuz arod is great offensively better than anyone on the yankees, and hes not bad defensively. Jeter and ARod on the same team, maybe even batting 1 and 2 is VERY impressive, but this guy alone will not solve the pitching problems. Keep Soriano, use the $$ on pitching. I mean, I love Nomar and we probably would have had to get rid of him if we got A-Rod, but it would be unfair on so many levels if the Sox couldn't pull off a deal for him but the Yanks could. And that's another thing. A-Rod would be willing to go to 3rd to accomodate Jeter if he became a Yankee, but he'd make Nomar move or get out of town if he went to the Sox. F ck A-Rod. Sori swings at everything and until he gets over that he won't reach his potential. Yes, it is a major money commitment for the Yanks but it is not my money. Winning trumps all and the players always buy into that. I am disappointed that we are trading Sori but for a guy like Arod you have to give up something good and we did.
