Even if the Penguins win tonight we'll still be in first place with a game in hand. A win against the Isles moves us right back into sole posession of first place...of course we'll need to win the game, but I'm confident we will. Never ever root for the Rangers!! Devilswede Posted January 15, 2008 Share Posted January 15, 2008 What if, in a hypothetical world, the Devils are where the Maples Leafs were in the last game of the year...outside of the playoffs looking in...the Rangers are playing the #8 team on the last day of the year, and any point by the #8 team clinches a playoff berth and the Devils therefore miss the playoffs.
