William D'Aquila
I would not be adverse to offering the Leafs Larsson and Matteau for JVR. I have a feeling Scarlett is ready to make the jump and would do very well for us this year.

peteyvegas51
Penner is my freaking nightmare -- he's just the kind of turd we all try to polish up once Lou signs him. and Lou said no free agent signing is status quo - that'd be. But PK, he says such nice things about you!
CarpathianForest
We really could use another RH shot. I don't think Lou brings anything via remaining FAs or trades. We'll get picks back for any trades at this point or 3rd or 4th liners.
Neb00rs
For 1 million I wouldn't have minded Heatley - I know people here disagree but to me, he's still only one year removed from a 50 point pace. He could put 50 up for the Ducks, who knows?
CarpathianForest
I know it's a bit nutty because of age, but Ray Whitney anyone? He's still got pretty good skills and has remained relatively healthy throughout his career.
RizzMB30
I know it's a bit nutty because of age, but Ray Whitney anyone? He's still got pretty good skills and has remained relatively healthy throughout his career. If we had space, but for the sake of discussion, I'd love to have a player of Whitney's caliber. We've had luck with the older guys like Whitney, but I don't know how much value he has as a top 6 forward. He blew my mind when he played with Arizona and put up 77 points. Even his first year with Dallas was pretty great, despite the injuries, he put up 29 points in 32. Edited July 10, 2014 by RizzMB30

Mitico12
Interesting article on Ribeiro: http://www.cbssports.com/nhl/eye-on-hockey/24610031/will-anyone-take-a-chance-on-mike-ribeiro I don't envision Lou taking a 34-year old Ribeiro with behavioral issues on the team, that unless, it is an Olesz'ish type of contract.
