You know, I always wondered why Burns never used 3 forwards on the PP ala Fetisov did when Larry was couching. Especially since our PP was so much lacking this year and still not great even though its slightly improved. I think someone else brought this up before.

So we didn't get the blockbuster we wanted but Marshall and Rheaume has really helped solidify the lines. Rheaume especially has surprised me and he's given us a pretty good 4th (or 3rd when needed) line center.

heh! I didn't catch that quote! Moustic, Metro is a small local station only some in the NJ/NY(maybe CT) area get. Its run by Cablevision, one of two cable carriers so people who get the other, Time Warner, don't get to see Devs games. When too many local teams play, ANY local teams, the Devils get the shaft and get put on Metro and a waaaay smaller audience.

Ah yes the Leafs are much scarier now for sure. They may have enough to match or beat the Devs but not enough to win a cup with that shaky blueline.

I always said its the size of the rink thats the problem. The players get bigger and so should the rinks and it would open up the game. But we all know thats not going to happen because of seating issues.

Of course she wasn't to the Devs. After all, I mean its not like the Leafs were ahead of the Devils in the East standings...

Speed, determination, flowing beautiful plays, the sound of checking into the boards, real emotions (specially in the playoffs), fighting, goaltending...... Footie (soccer) is the same as hockey just with more men on the pitch and a bit slower. Two great and similiar games.... Go Devils and up the Arsenal!

Here: ON JUNE 30, 1992, Lindros was sent to the Flyers for Peter Forsberg, Mike Ricci, Ron Hextall, Chris Simon, Kerry Huffman, Steve Duchesne, two first-round picks (one used to select Jocelyn Thibault and the other traded twice, eventually used by the Capitals to draft Nolan Baumgartner) and $15 million. Each of those guys were used to get people like Roy, Bourque, Blake to the Avs. Gotta be the most lopsided trade in retrospect.

Similiar but different. Neids has the better skill, but Ralfi has the passing and vision. Imagine Ralfi if he was 6'4.......
