Somewhere, Tomas Vokoun is grinning with gratification

Grew up playing roller, but switched to ice after college once a rink finally opened. I'm 27 now and still play ice hockey. I spend about 3-5 hours a week on the ice.

With this season in mind, I give January a B. Otherwise, I'd probably give them a C.

I'm originally from New Jersey, but I live in KC now (Blue Springs). We go to a Mavs' game or two each month, but we don't have season tix. I saw someone there wearing a Colin White jersey to the Fort Wayne game a couple of weeks ago - could that have been you?

Bossier-Shreveport? Yeah, they kicked the crap out of my team (Missouri Mavericks) last night 6-1. They're one of the best CHL teams, for what that's worth. The games are fun, but it's a lot of sloppy passing and unnecessary fighting.

Leaving the hotel for the game now. This is my first regular season NHL game - too bad half the team's hurt. Oh well, LGD!

It definitely has a different feel to it, but I love it. I'm going to need a lot of work with faceoffs though...

I have to work until 5:00 too, but I have PS3 so I guess it wouldn't have mattered anyway. This game has yet to let me down and I'm definitely not expecting it to this year.
