Weekes Head
Man are they good. Bet you've been waiting to post that for about a week now, eh?
sheeps
I don't think so. They beat a very weak Devils team. I just can't see them winning the Cup. MAYBE the East, but not the Cup.
Guest Devsrule
Whats with the attitude?? Philly is an awesome team, they just owned the defending champs.
'7'
Toronto will win the East if they can get past Ottawa, eventually Esche will be exposed as the average goalie that he is.
Chico
No fvcking way! We basically had one line rollung this series, no big bodies in front of the net, and so on. They get a Boston, Toronto, Tampa, or Ottawa I tink they are done. Esche gives up too many fat rebounds--we just couldn't cash in. They are done in the next round. Guest Devsrule
Can we at least say that Philly has earned respect??
CaptainScotty
In case you didn't know, most of the teams in the east that were in the playoffs owned the Devils. This team was limping along for quite some time. The Flyers? Yeah right. Our team was small up front and in back, and our goaltender has turned into a cream puff. Sure, its not too hard to take down a team like that, especially since our second line center sat out two games because he blows so hard. Their weaknesses will definitely be exposed in the next series. Its just too bad that Lou couldn't pull ANYTHING at the deadline.
L
Toronto will win the East if they can get past Ottawa, eventually Esche will be exposed as the average goalie that he is. I completely concur. If things shake out the way they currently look it is: Philly vs. Boston -> Advantage Philly Toronto vs. Tampa -> Advantage Toronto Toronto over Philly. Chico
They are a good team, no doubt about it. But to say they are the cream of the East is stretching it a bit.

FunkyBlueFish203
No, Philly wont win the East. Whoever wins the TO/Sens series will win the East.
Jas0nMacIsaac
I think Philly wins the east but when they run into Detroit it will be over for them. Lets see Philly forwards take liberties with Fischer and Hatcher there
Zamode
Remember the sweep/plowing Detroit gave Philthy? How sweet

Maybe ... just like the Flyers did to Marty in this series without Daneyko and Stevens "legally" obstructing the other team's forwards. Guest
I think it will either be Toronto or Tampa Bay that wins the East.
Tony Montana
If there is one team the Flyers own, it's Toronto. The only team that really scares me is Ottawa.
ice dog
bottom line both jersey and philly kinda suck...either Tampa or Toronto are goin' to the cup finals. The Devils just had too injuries this year, and the way Marty looked today I would not be surprised if he is injured also... also no way did philthy "own" the Devils...these teams were very evenly matched with the Devils out playing them at times. The Flyers simply had more depth and a Goalie that played better than Marty...
