NJayDevil
wow Neuwy at 5th in the center category. Surprising. Marty, Nieder, and Stevens have some pretty damn high votes. Nice to see that.
Derek21
And that Leetch guy 1st in D. He really doesn't get enough credit for how good he is defensively. The Rangers missed him a lot last night when they almost blew that game. Leetch has sacrificed his offense to make the Poti pairing work. IAmCanadian27
wow Neuwy at 5th in the center category. Surprising. Nieuwy having a lot of fans in Dallas must've helped. And Nieder is third for D !
Pepperkorn
I was going to keep my trap shut about this. Well...i guess I still will I'll just smile coyly coy, ain't I? but Leetch?!? Kill the buzz much?

'7'
how many centers, wings, and defensman are they taking from each conference? Is that rule still in effect where each team must have a representative? nice to see East Vs. West again
insanity_gallops
nice to see East Vs. West again My sentiments eXactly. The whole "North America v. The World" never sat quite right with me... always seemed kind of arrogant, pitting "the rest of the world" against "the might North America." SBT
Where's Pittsburgh's Tarnstrom in the voting? Doesn't he lead all NHL defensemen in points?
'7'
well, they always experimented with the all star game, it used to be cup champs vs. nhl all stars, then it was campbell vs. wales and they'd mix in the challenge cup and rendez-vous 87, then they added the skills competition & old timers game. I liked the idea of North America vs. The World and they played some good games, but it's definitely time to change back.
'7'
I guess Tarnstrom was not on the ballot and not enough people wrote him in.
SBT
Unfortunately, the All-Star voting is a annual popularity contest.
insanity_gallops
Unfortunately, the All-Star voting is a annual popularity contest. ...say it ain't so! Are you also going to tell me that the Oscars aren't a true judge, either?
Blackjack
I liked the idea of North America vs. The World and they played some good games, but it's definitely time to change back. Well, if Elias and Fedorov are ever going to be on the same line again...
SBT
Actually IG, the SBT agrees with the selection of Oscar nominees. For the most part, all nominees are worthy winners. Although the SBT occasionally disagrees with the Academy's choice for TOP movie.
devilsrule33
It shows the fans don't care at all when Irbe is third for goalies.

Although the SBT occasionally disagrees with the Academy's choice for TOP movie. The SBT is obviously not as fanatic about his movies as he is his hockey Hey and you all hate Stevens! And fans of opposing teams hate him even more! And he didn't even get any votes last year (not to my way of thinking anyhow) Are you saying he's MR POPULAR? I think not! I see no Stevens webpages or fan sites. I am the only one who chronically sings his praises...are you saying I found a way to place tens of thousands of votes? hahaha -- I love writing stupid posts like this! Think I can rig the teams most valuable player, unsung hero and players player awards to all go Stevens' way too?
