SBT
Unfortunately, the SBT is unable to predict a Devils victory. Especially with Ottawa steamrolling opponents recently. And with Rafalski and Gionta out; and Elias and Niewy in slumps. And with Ottawa going for a team record 8th straight home win. The SBT hopes for the best but fears the worst. Hossa with a hat trick as the Sens win 4-1.
Blackjack
While this will be by far the toughest game of the year, Blackjack's faith remains unshakable. (Oh wait, I forgot I'm not supposed to do that ) 2-1 OT Devils Hossa Berglund Elias (OT)
littleton_devil
SBT -- who would have thought that the "One Team One Goal" moniker from 2000 would, two short years later, uilitmately dictate the average number of Av goals per game??? A more fitting purpose statement for 2002-03 edition of the Avs might be, "Having lost sight of our purpose we have nonetheless redoubled our efforts!" All kidding aside, Devils will stick with their magic number (2) and lose 4-2 or win 2-1.
SBT
Actually, 77 goals in 29 games comes out to 2.655 goals/game. The SBT is fond of the "One Team, One Goal" slogan because it reinforces the importance of the team concept. Individual goals are irrelevant as a TEAM pursues the ultimate dream of winning the Stanley Cup.
NJayDevil
I need to remain optimistic. 3-2 Devs in OT.
Zamode
I share SBT's sentiments, good and bad. Fear the worst but hope for the best. SBT, I'd love to see you have a Devs' avatar, how about it?

Risky
hehe -- "one team, one goal" seems rather optimistic given our recent goal-scoring.
NJDevs4978
Can't predict a win in this one unfortunately but I do think the team will respond the way they have all season in big games, this time with a 2-2 tie.
devspage
I too like their chances in a game that they'll play hard, rather than a game they think they don't have to. (Although I STILL don't understand how you can wait til the end to play a game, when you're already losing. I'll never EVER get that.) westcoastdevfan
6-2 Sens. The Devils will remain in a funk and lose four of their next five games.

SBT
The Devils don't play Colorado until Feb. 11.
