SatansDevils
Anyone remember the last time this happened? All 3 NY teams are in the playoffs. Jersey and Pittsburgh. Hell how often is it that 4/5 teams from a division make the playoffs?
jkrdevil
Here's the Online (Non-Sopcast Schedule) As of now Games 2, 3, and 6 will be on Comcast.net (That could change depending on other series results, is only for Comcast internet subscribers). Game 2 will also be on Yahoo. http://www.comcast.net/sports/nhl/hockeylive/schedule/ http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/news?slug=ys-n...o&type=lgns
gogonjdevil
This has not happened too often in the Atlantic Division with the NYR, NYI and Pittsburgh sucking for all those years. Past years it was always the Devils and the Flyers. This is rare this season and the TV channels are going to go crazy if all 3 local teams are on the same day. I'm actually kinda hoping that all the Atlantic Division teams win. It'll take a miracle by the Islanders...but the rest can happen.

HoustonAE2
Seeing 4 Atlantic teams in the playoffs is both great and scary. What is scary about it is the likelyhood of the Devils meeting a rival in the playoffs. Seeing the Pens/Islanders/Rangers/Devils in the playoffs, especially since my sister is a Flyers fan and talks so much crap about the Devils. Devilsdude530
It wouldn't be all that shocking if all 4 teams advanced. It wouldn't be if all 4 lost.

thelastonealive
So is there a definitive start date for the second round? The Nets are at CAA Friday April 27th and Sunday the 29th. Would take make the Devs Thursday/Saturday? I honestly can't remember how long the layover between series typically is, since last year was longer than usual. Derek21
The official schedule for the 2nd Round won't come out until the first round concludes later tonight.

jkrdevil
Interesting note NJSEA scheduled Champions on Ice at CAA for 3pm Saturday. That might make them unable to play on Saturday. That leaves really too options Wednesday and Thursday back to back, or play Sunday at 1 (before the Nets game that night) in the NBC slot. pattyelias
What happens if the Devils play at 1pm on Sunday and the game goes to quadruple overtime? What do you do with all the people coming for the Nets game and how would you possibly get the place ready in time?

That is possible that the Devils could have back-to-back nights on Wednesday and Thursday which would be insane and Lou does not like that. It was mentioned in the newspaper this morning. Devils could play on Saturday after the Champions on ice @ 8PM.
