SatansDevils
if only the Mets could've face the Chicago Chokers or Milwaukee 3-Day Sabathias or the Los Angeles Mannys There is a lot of "what if" when it comes to this past season Mets. One game here or there they would have been in the playoffs lol. If the Mets made the playoffs they would have had no problems getting to the WS IMO. I would have liked to see the Rays vs. the Mets. Nothing but what if's now. It sucks. Some teams *cough Phillies cough* do get lucky along the way to the WS with teams they had to play. The Rays lol are for real and doing some number on their season and the Red Sox in the ALCS. It's 13-3 Rays now. nmigliore
I hate the Phillies but if theres one guy I want on my team next year its by far Shane Victorino.
SatansDevils
No thanks. I want Manny Ramirez on the Mets. Omar has to go and get him. He has liked Manny for years now. That way the Mets have a solid hitter in the line up and a steady LF all season long.
SatansDevils
TB Rays destroy Boston again 13-4 in Game 4 and leads the series 3-1. TB one game away from going to their 1st ever WS. The Boston fans must be sick to their stomachs after the last two home games getting beat up badly 9-1 and 13-4. OUCH!
thefiestygoat
I'm really surprised that Tampa is doing that well. I still wouldn't count Boston out.

nmigliore
Doesnt mean anything unless you can finish. the NL title sucks if its not paired with WS title. 2000 Mets, nobody makes a big deal out of the NL title since they lost to the Yankees.. its kinda funny b/c i dont really like to remember much about that since they didn't finish on what was a fantastic year. Verran12
GO PHILLIES!!! :boogie: woooooooooooo go Phillies is right! Congrats Verran, Phillies have played awesome this season, good luck to 'em. The parties last night were nuts. Me and my wife had a good time, All my buddies in South Jersey had a huge party we went to after the game ended, since our son was at my mother's. But you have to finish like the Met fan said.
SatansDevils
It does not look good for Boston tonight in Game 5 so far. The Tampa Bay Rays are up 5-0 now the top of the 7th. Kazmir pitching very well. EDIT! and then the wheels (Wheeler) fell off from Tampa Bay. Wheeler blows the game in the 8th. SatansDevils
Boston not done yet. Ortiz - Big Papi hits a 3-run HR in the Bot 7th and it is 7-4 now Tampa Bay. Now we have a Game 5.

SatansDevils
What a comeback by Boston! They never give up and they never quit. This team knows how to come back being down 0-3 or 1-3. Tampa Bay had a 7-0 lead now gone tied 7-7 bot 9th. One of the best games in the playoffs so far.

SatansDevils
BOSTON wins 8-7 in the bottom of the 9th! An error with two outs killed Tampa Bay and Game 5 for them. Wow. Boston the 2nd biggest comeback in MLB history tonight down 7-0 comeback and win 8-7. Tampa Bay leads the series now 3-2 with Games 6 and 7 in Tampa Bay. This is a devastating loss for Tampa Bay and they need to wrap up this series @ home in Game 6. If they don't, Boston can pull off another series deficit in back to back seasons. Just Wow. SatansDevils
It is amazing that the Rays had a 7-0 lead in the bottom of the 7th inning with 2 outs and they LOST THE GAME 8-7. That is devastating to the Rays and it will be interesting to see if they can bounce back at home Saturday night for Game 6.
njdevils783
Guess this is where that experience tangible comes into play. I still cant believe the red sox one this game, Rays look primed to choke it away now.

thefiestygoat
Earlier my friend disagreed with me when I said not to count Boston out. Sure the Rays were in a good position and still are, but after 2004, I am never going to doubt Boston when it comes to making a comeback. I still hope they lose, but I'll stick with my gut feeling that they are going to come back and win the ALCS.
