GetReal Posted April 15, 2003 Share Posted April 15, 2003 Too bad that Dano isn't playing. Tonight Boston will shorten the bench, nothing to lose. If they lose game there isn't a tomorrow. They will be hitting. Thorton will have tremendous pressure on him. He's only 23 but Keenan said he couldn't step up and here he is again. Boston has to think that 1 win will change the outcome and play for that win. Devils will handle the pressure and have the trap and the best PK plus goalie. Boston 1-0 on PP where was the Devils PK. 4 Devs on the kice two beind the net while 4 Bruins in front as puck goes in for Boston. Hackett had a good period as well. Thorton gets PP big uplift, important for leader to get goal. two periods left. plenty of time for Devils. But they have to get offense. Oh well down 1-0, two periods left. Seemed if anything like the team was too anxious to finish the Bruins off, too many defensive openings in that period. Tighten up guys. Didn't occur to me Dano would be scratched considering if we win there'll be a few days' layoff for Dano but oh well. It's been a rough series I suppose it is better that we save him.
