William
vinny to be traded from the lightning by the end of the year. there is also an interview with him from what i can tell and he sounds good. http://www.corussports.com/hockey/nouvelles/lecavalier-sera-echange-cette-saison-p.-burns-1869701.html
CADevilsFan
What's the rumor? All that article says is that Burns believes that Vinny will be out of TB by the end of the season. The title is a little misleading, like there's a rumor that Burns is coming back to Coach.

Neutral Zone Trap
Let's bet the rags somehow sign him. Somehow being the operative word. Someone needs to get it into Sather's head that there is a salary cap. Sure they could sign him, but Dubinsky and Prospal would have to be traded. SatansDevils
Can see Lecavalier getting traded to Montreal. Montreal has plenty of players they got this offseason top trade for Lecavalier.
Jerrydevil
I'm in Tampa right now. Drove past a billboard advertising Lightning hockey, and Lecavalier ain't on it, but Stamkos and Malone are.

Hmm, interesting. Gomez and Gionta AND a draft pick or two would have to go the other way to land Vinny (unless he's a UFA-then Tampa is hosed)

ZeroGravityFat
i hope that sather trades his entire prospects group for vinny so he dooms that team to deeper sh!t.
MantaRay
Vinny is nothing without St. Louis to prop up his numbers, so with Stamkos essentially taking Lecaviliars ice time and actually producing, I can see Vinny being tossed out of Tampa by the end of the year. NY has no cap space for Vinny, and I doubt very much if Lecavilar wants to play with Torts ever again. When Montreal fails to make a dent in the playoffs, they will jettison Gomez and find a way to save face in Canada by finally getting Vinny their favorite son in a habs uniform.
